Describe the bug

During onboarding, Analytics Preference Selected event wasn't sent to the segment API due to a bug in the metametrics context and background state.

This causes the data inconsistencies in the segment backend and mixpanel, affecting the marketing analysis.

Expected behavior

Analytics Preference Selected event should be sent during the onboarding for both SRP and social login users.
