As interviews involve high stakes and are commonly intimidating, MockRot aims to calm interviewees by using famous internet icons as interviewers. To improve education, MockRot aims to fill the gap between schooling and getting a job, as new graduates have limited interviewing skills while those are required from them

MockRot operates as an app which uses Gemini and ElevenLabs to create interview questions and interpret audio replies

The following are installed in the backend server
