Brent is one of London's most diverse and deprived boroughs. 27% of children live in poverty. Over 130 languages are spoken across the borough. Thousands of residents face housing crises, employment barriers, benefit gaps, and interactions with authorities — without knowing the rights and services available to them.
The information exists. It is scattered across dozens of council web pages, NHS portals, charity websites, and government guidance documents — written in bureaucratic language, rarely updated, and almost impossible to navigate under stress.
When someone is facing eviction tonight, or doesn't know their landlord is breaking the law, or has never heard of the free training courses available to them — the cost of that information gap is real.
Brent Navigator brings verified, plain-English information together in one place — organised around the moments that matter most to residents.
Nine sections cover the full range of issues Brent residents face: crisis support, health, housing, employment, environment, community, youth rights, council tax, and a searchable FAQ. Every piece of information is verified against official sources. Every phone number is real. Every link goes somewhere useful.
The app is free, requires no account, and is designed to work on a mobile phone — because that is how most Brent residents access the internet.
