The diff of #1586 contained some changes in
tcksamplethat appear to be unrelated to the proposed changes to theProgressBar. So I've split the relevant commit in two such that each can be assessed independently.This appears to just be removing some unnecessary class inheritance &
MR::copy_ptrusage.
