5ttcheck currently ensures that the sum of partial volume fractions in each image voxel is either 1.0 (brain) or 0.0 (non-brain). However it doesn't actually check the individual tissue partial volume values to ensure that they lie within the range 0.0 - 1.0 inclusive.
