Projects I have worked on
TutorAI is a RAG system capable of assisting with learning academic subjects using user-provided documents. Supported OCR for scanned books and articles. My work focused on OCR integration and vector search, but I contributed across the stack.
Agent-based simulation exploring ways to reduce isolation in social media. We extended an earlier research project to introduce customizable tools for studying filter bubbles. Detailed in "Broadening the Bubble: Technological Countermeasures to Isolation in an Agent-based Simulation of Social Media".
The model builds upon the foundational work described in "The triple filter bubble: Using agent-based modeling to test a meta-theoretical framework for the emergence of filter bubbles and echo chambers" by Daniel Geschke and his team.
Machine learning project where we trained a figure to walk using iterative evolutionary algorithms. I worked mainly on coordination and supporting tasks across all fronts.
A personal chess AI project written in a low-level language, designed to beat my friend Truls.
