Hey all! Thanks for everyone who's used Aftman and expressed interest in it. It was a fun tool to work on, but I haven't been giving it the attention it really needs.
I think it's in everyone's best interests if I finally archive the repository and point everyone to a good alternative tool.
Recently, I learned about mise-en-place, which has totally superseded Aftman in my projects and on my machines. It does everything Aftman does, but it's a lot better put together!
mise-en-place can also manage Node.js and Python as well as their dependencies. It also has a TOML format very similar to Foreman and Aftman, but with a better CLI and a more robust strategy for calling into tools.
mise-en-place is also written in Rust, which I think is very cool. 😏
