the previous PR mentioned a minimum 15 blocks a day on average as the threshold for low mining / hunting nodes to contribute. the timespan over which this average was to be calculated was not specified. I'm not against using a different time period, but without it being specified it would seem that "over the season" is implied, which means there is effectively no penalty for failing to achieve the threshold.

No less arbitrary than 75% of top block producing node or 15 blocks a day.
A week is enough time to adjust if too low, and not too long for extended period of low production. If you had something else in mind, it should have been included in original PR.

I put what I had in mind, 75% of what the top node has; 15 was something @ca333 pulled out of the air, a month ago.

earlier would have been better, but it was not identified until raised in discord today. As I am not hunting, I didnt get involved until it was raised. Not having a defined period for calculating the average renders the average pointless, so one had to be proposed. I just put what I had in mind.
