   This year, I had the wonderful opportunity to contribute a project to Chromium. Chromium is a large-scale browser engine that powers major browsers like Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Opera, and Brave, to name a few. Chromium-based browsers are used by over 4 billion people worldwide. Contributing a project to such a widely used codebase was both exciting and a proud moment for me.

   Before this project, Chrome only allowed users to choose tab group colors from 9 predefined options, with no way to set custom, user-defined colors. While Chrome aims to provide a highly customizable and flexible browsing experience, tab group colors lacked this flexibility.
