• [ x] I have tested the latest development version from http://builds.jabref.org/master/ and the problem persists

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. make a change to a bib entry
2. press control+s to save the file
3. wait a second. A message "Saving library ..." pops up from the bottom of the screen
4. The asterisk disappears from the library tab.

so far, everything appears fine.

5. move the cursor to another window (TeXstudio).
6. the asterisk reappears on the library tab, and the file is no longer saved. Latest edits are not saved to disk.

Note: this behaviour doesn't happen when saving by means of clicking the save icon. That works fine. It's only when using control+s.
