• [X ] I have tested the latest development version from http://builds.jabref.org/master/ and the problem persists

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. In editor, right click when in a text field.
2. unicode <-> LaTeX conversion doesn't work at all or not properly.

This is a regression: it was working properly in recent versions of 5beta.
