Checked with the latest development build (copy version output from About dialog)

• I made a backup of my libraries before testing the latest development version.
• I have tested the latest development version and the problem persists

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

Install, and browser extension no longer works and complains that the native messaging host is not registered. Indeed, I can no longer find the keys listed at https://docs.jabref.org/collect/jabref-browser-extension#windows (or under HKMU).

Upon manually creating the missing key (eg using REG ADD "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mozilla\NativeMessagingHosts\org.jabref.jabref" /ve /d "C:\Program Files\JabRef\jabref-firefox.json" /f the connection seems to be working)
