Context

Removes the entire releases/release channels documentation page since Infisical is no longer doing nightly releases. Rather than simplifying the page, the entire page has been removed as requested.

Changes:

  • Deleted docs/self-hosting/guides/releases.mdx entirely
  • Removed the navigation entry from docs/docs.json

Note: There are still some nightly version references in hsm-integration.mdx and installation.mdx that specify minimum supported versions (e.g., v0.151.0-nightly-20251013.1). These are historical version requirements rather than release schedule documentation, so they were left as-is. Let me know if these should also be updated.

Steps to verify the change

  1. Verify the releases page no longer appears in the docs navigation
  2. Check the docs preview to ensure no broken links

Human review checklist

  • Verify no other docs pages link to the removed releases page
  • Confirm the whitespace changes in docs.json are acceptable

Greptile Overview

Greptile Summary

Updates self-hosting documentation by renaming the “Release Channels” page to “Releases” and removing the Nightly channel tab/content, leaving a simplified monthly stable release schedule plus a schedule warning. This aligns the docs with the current release practice and reduces UI complexity by dropping the Tabs-based layout.

Confidence Score: 4/5

  • This PR is safe to merge with low risk (docs-only change).
  • Only modifies a single MDX doc page; main concerns are potential loss of helpful links and slightly overconfident wording about release stability, not functional regressions.
  • docs/self-hosting/guides/releases.mdx

Important Files Changed

Filename Overview
docs/self-hosting/guides/releases.mdx Simplifies release documentation by removing Nightly channel tab and renaming page; consider preserving prior external links and clarifying wording around release quality/stability.

Additional Comments (1)

docs/self-hosting/guides/releases.mdx
This page previously listed multiple sources (GitHub Releases, Docker Hub, Linux packages). If removing “channels” is the only goal, consider keeping those “Staying up to date” links intact so readers still know where to find tags/packages across distribution methods.

Note: If this suggestion doesn't match your team's coding style, reply to this and let me know. I'll remember it for next time!
