In Safari, tap the share icon (square with arrow) at the bottom of the screen and select "Add to Home Screen".
This is a Next.js PWA with shadcn/ui and Tailwind v4.
The repo is setup for development in Cursor.
npm i
npm run devOpen http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.
By default, service workers are disabled in development mode to prevent caching issues during testing. This means PWA features (offline support, install prompts, etc.) won't work during normal development.
To enable service workers in development for testing PWA features:
NEXT_PUBLIC_ENABLE_SW_DEV=true npm run devNote: Service workers are always enabled in production builds, regardless of this environment variable.
Talis is open source. Feel free to check out the code, open issues, or submit pull requests.
