Bug Report
Description
The issue that I'm having is that when I start to type a word, such as "after" for "afternoon", and the inline suggestion gives the correct word for autocompletion, I hit Tab and Cotabby inputs it as "after noon." For every word, it leaves a space like this in the middle of the word when I hit Tab to autocomplete the word. I've seen a comment on Reddit about this that says "My guess is either a stale completion or the completion word splitting not working properly." This is probably my biggest issue with Cotabby thus far, but for the most part, you've done a fantastic job with Cotabby and in stepping up to fill in the gaps left by the your competitor. Thank you.
Steps to Reproduce
- Begin typing a basic word "afternoon" and watch the inline suggestions. If the autocomplete suggestion is correct, hit the Tab key and see if there's a gap in the middle of the word.
Expected Behavior
Autocomplete the word after hit the Tab key and leave no space in the middle of the word.
Environment
- Cotabby version: 0.5.0-beta
- macOS version: 26.6 Beta
- Mac model: 2024 MacBook Pro16,8
- Chip: Apple M4 Pro
- Memory: 24 GB
