Undergraduate Research Assistant @ UIC | Software Engineer
I'm a CS Undergrad and am very well familiar with everything I touch. I enjoy what I do and put my pride in everything I do, including eating ramen noodles because I love noodles a ton. It's great.
- Sanchez Research Lab: I'm currently a research assistant for Professor Benjamin Sanchez, developing the software for his mission of medical research. Right now the main project is the Voxylex Infrastructure in which I add features, create automated test cases, implement design patterns, and much more. I also created wrapper files for it like error logging that executes cloud commands. Cool stuff
- Mentorship: I help mentor students through the Women in Computer Science program, teaching them how to build and deploy their own websites and their own personal projects. One of them is building a website for a client as a software engineer, and another is developing a mobile application using Flutter for personal use. I enjoy pushing their knowledge and helping them learn a ridiculous amount for their current status within UIC.
