EE 7.5.13

When creating a new Text Input field the Maximum characters value defaults to 0 (zero). From memory this used to default to 300 in older EE versions?

If the max chars value isn't modified it can lead to fields (i.e. in Channel Form) unable to accept input.

Suggestion is to restore a sensible default max chars value for new Text Input fields.
