Description

Both for Apple Intel and the new Silicon processor architecture, we still need to recompile dcmtk's MEX. We got quite far but need to recompile two static libraries to fully enable compiling dcmtk MEX.

Tasks

• Compiling residual static libraries using MacPort on Silicon Mac M1 by Jan
• Use DCMTK 3.6.9 library without ICU lib. Copy the setup from Luna/Flux.
• Compile MEX for Intel Mac - this works already using HZDR servers. There might be some minor issues with extra warnings etc. But we have compiled the newest MEX version in GE enhanced ASL 7 PLDs check #1516 and this should work everywhere.
• Merge DCMTK compilation on Flux #1446 first
• Compile all Mac version (intel+silicon) based on CPP from GE enhanced ASL 7 PLDs check #1516
• Henk will test if the Mex file runs on his computer - just to read a single DICOM file without crashing or skipping to SPM_dicom_read
