I don't know whether 'hover-expecting' is how this feature is referred as, but from the video below you can tell what I am talking about:

There is this big array of array of array of array of some C++ slop, which results in a really big data hierarchy. When you keep expanding it, eventually some of the information leaves the visible frame. If you shrink the hierarchy it shows up again.
