Inputting notes when instrument editor is open causes focus shift to instrument editor.

Repro:

1. Open instrument editor.
2. Focus pattern editor, instrument column.
3. Enter edit mode.
4. Press a number.
   Result: Focus shifts to instrument editor.
   Expected: Instrument editor updates but focus stays in pattern editor.
