Warning

All downloads on this page come with no warranty or support. Since they are automatically built from the latest source code with no human oversight, they may very well contain serious bugs, performance issues, or other problems that make them unsuitable for general use. That said, we generally try very hard to avoid breaking anything too much.

Mod compatibility is not guaranteed, and mods with tight integration into Sodium's internals are extremely liable to breaking at any time without notice. You may need to download bleeding-edge versions of your other mods, or directly build them from source.

Trunk

Build status

The name "trunk" refers to the branch which all other branches are derived from. Because of this, it often contains the very latest improvements and fixes which may not have been cherry-picked to a release branch. The version of Minecraft it targets will vary, and may not even be the latest version Minecraft.

Release branches

For each version of Minecraft that we provide support for, a "release" branch will be created from trunk. The release branch will have changes cherry-picked from trunk as needed, and any version-specific changes will also live on these branches.

Active Branches

These branches correspond to versions of Minecraft which our team is actively supporting. For more information about which versions are supported, see the Support Policy.

Inactive Branches

These branches are for versions of Minecraft that our team have since stopped providing support for. There may sometimes be additional improvements that have not made it into a tagged release intended for users with special needs, but it is generally rare.

Please note that some of these branches may be very old and will not have received changes in quite some time. Because of this, the links to download pre-built binaries may have expired, and you may need to compile from source instead.

Not all branches of development are listed here, because they so frequently change as to be impossible to track. However, you may be interested in the full branch listing and any other automated builds.
