Describe the bug

Attempting to disable a tree from the GUI is not working as expected.

To Reproduce

Either disable the tree from the main table display or through enable editing and the toggle published off. After saving, or in the case of disabling from the table view, upon inspection, the checkbox will automatically show enabled on the form even though it's not.

Expected behavior

The tree should clearly show enabled and disabled from that form.
