Gradient support can break Graphs containing special characters #5196

Describe the bug
Gradient support double escapes certain characters that must be escaped causing Graphs not to render.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Create an Array Graph Item

Put a special character like a colon in the Title Format

Create a Graph using this template
