To Reproduce:

Steps to reproduce the behavior. Note that argument values have been redacted, as they may contain sensitive information.

  • Put any pre-requisite steps here...
  • az webapp create -g $RESOURCE_GROUP -n $SITE_NAME -p $PLAN_NAME -r "java|1.8|Tomcat|8.5"

note: not only for java|1.8|Tomcat|8.5

Expected Behavior

Environment Summary

Linux-4.4.0-18362-Microsoft-x86_64-with-debian-stretch-sid
Python 3.6.5

azure-cli 2.1.0

Additional Context

This is similar with #12229 .
But this happens on Azure CLI v2.1.0 and seems that this depends on runtime specified in the command.
I tried other runtimes, then creating with most of runtimes (except node|x.y) was failed.
