Thanks, seems to work fine based on my limited testing. Weird though, I remember trying the same thing a while back due to a StackOverflow post but it didn't seem to work. I'll make a release within three days, waiting on whether the Chinese localization PR will get fixed first |

I compiled & tested this ugly fix: it solves #372. App now works for me with 15k images instead of crashing with 9k.
A rework of the data handling is still recommended as serializing large data structures and storing as json in sqlite is not ideal.
