I noticed a few comments about me going missing, so I think I should state things more explicitly, and set expectations for you all.

I've hit a wall with AndProx and PM3 development, so I'm not planning to do much more work on it.

I originally built AndProx for a field project where I needed a more portable Proxmark3 device, where a laptop was too big. I haven't needed to use that much more since 2019, and then the pandemic has put a stop to all my field projects.

If you are interested in working on this, please fork the project, and state your intentions here.

Thank you to those who have helped out with troubleshooting and fixing things, or providing helpful suggestions.

And thank you to PM3's contributors for releasing their code under an open source license, which has allowed things like this to be built. I hold absolutely no ill will towards any of you.

On a personal note, AndProx and PM3 have turned into a big drain for me. I have actively dreaded looking at the issue tracker for the last 2 years, which is not at all healthy.

While I'm happy it has attracted some interest, there have been very few contributions to the project itself, and support load has been too high. I'm happy to help people that help me help them -- but there is a big "open source consumerism" problem within PM3's user base which simply robs me of all motivation.

I don't think that accepting donations would help here. Thankfully, I'm in a position that I don't need to take extra money on the side to live comfortably.

There are some deep technical problems to solve with AndProx and PM3 that would make ongoing maintenance easier, and I don't think I'm the right person to finish that.

The best thing I think I can do right now is state my intentions, and leave an open invitation for someone to take that up. I apologise for taking so long to do so.
