I have a degoogled device realme P1 5G so I am personally used to not receiving any notification from any app.

And I want to be able to kill the flow app and not let it run in the background for useless notification check run.

It should not run in background unless I use it.

For no reason,it should come back alive unless I want it to.

How it could be implemented.

Add a simple toggle to remove notification polling or a toggle that allows the users to switch it on ,which will in turn do what I said.

Like when a user removes a app from background,it should be staying dead.
