Bluetooth media buttons don't pause the video (earphones)

Steps to Reproduce

1. open any video
2. while the video is playing, pause the video using your earphones' touch controls

Expected Behavior

the video should be paused

Actual Behavior

video isn't paused, the touch control is ignored

Additional Context

• music player works as expected, the issue only applies to video player (and shorts player)
• my earphones are OnePlus Nord 3 - and they also struggle to play from background music apps when full screen apps are open which might be interfering in the app
