Problem Statement

Search is only reachable via the top corner icon, which is awkward on larger phones.

Proposed Solution

Two or one opt-in options in Settings:

1. Double-tap the home/subs tabs area to open search.
2. An optional Search tab in the bottom dock, alongside Home and Subs.

User Story

• As a one-handed user,
  I want to reach search without stretching to the top corner,
  so that I can search comfortably at any time.

Alternatives Considered

None that don't require an unergonomic reach.
