The latest version of Flow brought a change where clicking either "Not interested" or "Don't show this channel" in the home feed would instantly remove said video. However, it seems like using the same functions on related videos does not hide them.
Problem Statement
I primarily like to have Flow shows only Japanese contents for immersion learning purposes. Having videos from different languages can be a distraction for me so I always hide as soon as I see them, but unfortunately, this doesn't work for related videos.
Proposed Solution
Extends the hiding functionalities of the home feed for the related videos as well.
User Story
People who love to curate their contents especially language learners stand to benefit from this.
- As a [type of user, e.g. music listener / power user / casual viewer],
I want [the feature],
so that [the benefit / what it enables].
Alternatives Considered
There is no alternative. I simply go full screen and try to ignore it, but it can be distracting and even tempting to click on some of these videos.
Priority Assessment
Feature Category
Platform Considerations
No.
Existing Solutions
This is a Flow's specific feature so the reference is itself.
Additional Context
No.
