The Multitech PC-500+ uses the ALi M1101 chipset in stead of discrete logics used in PC-500 (ref. here, here and here). The ALi M1101 seems to be a rebadge UMC UM82C088 (ref. here and here), which is identified as a clone of Texas Instruments TACT80101 (also ref. here)
