Summary

I fixed various mistakes (such as incorrect maximum RAM sizes, FSB speeds, type of expansion slots etc.) present on some emulated Intel P6-based machines, so they more accurately reflect the limitations that exist on the actual ones.

Here is a full list of all fixes:

Socket 8

  • Acer V60N: Increased the maximum RAM size from 512 MB to 768 MB
  • Biostar MB-8600TTC: Decreased the maximum RAM size from 1 GB to 512 MB
  • Intel AP440FX: Increased the maximum RAM size from 128 MB to 512 MB

Slot 1

  • ABIT LX6: Decreased the maximum FSB speed from 100 MHz to 83 MHz
  • HP Vectra VEi 8: Decreased the maximum RAM size from 1 GB to 512 MB and removed the AGP graphics slot
  • Tyan Tsunami ATX: Decreased the maximum RAM size from 1 GB to 768 MB
  • Packard Bell Bora Pro: Increased the maximum FSB speed from 66 MHz to 100 MHz

Slot 1/Socket 370

  • ECS P6BAT-A+: Increased the maximum RAM size from 768 MB to 1.5 GB

Slot 2

  • Gigabyte GA-6GXU: Decreased the maximum FSB speed from 133 MHz to 100 MHz

NOTE: I closed the previous pull request I made for fixing Slot 1 machines as it had some erroneous fixes. This pull request replaces the mentioned previous one.

References

This time, unlike with the previous pull request and as the manuals for these machines are either outdated or inaccurate, online pictures were used instead to more accurately determine the maximum supported RAM sizes. This is based on the amount of RAM slots and the chipset used by the motherboard.

Datasheets for the chipsets on some of these machines were also used, for example the ALi ALADDiN Pro-II and SiS 5600 datasheets.
