HackIllinois2025 Gesture-Controlled Bot

To run:

python3 mainsequential.py

Tools used

  • Google Mediapipe Library

  • Tensorflow

  • Raspberry Pi 4B

The camera mounted on the robot tracks a specific hand landmark to keep the hand in frame while gestures are performed

Point left/right/up/down to make the bot move left/right/forward/backwards respectively

Robot has omni-directional wheels that allow for movement in 4 different directions
