•Closed Goals:
- Users can install zb from documentation in less than an hour on supported platforms.
- zb runs on Linux, macOS, and Windows.
- Go and C programs for AMD64 Linux can be compiled with functions from the standard library.
- Lua API is largely stable. (No known deficiencies that would require breaking backward compatibility, although it would be reserved through MVP.)
- Users should have sufficient documentation to compile their own Go and C programs without external assistance.
Stretch Goals:
- Userspace for macOS (#72)
Non-Goals:
- Optimal build speeds. It's fine if things are slow at first, as long as they're correct.
- Lua API is complete. Backward-compatible changes can be made.
- Userspace for Windows (#6)
- Userspace for non-AMD64 Linux
98% complete
