Just to check - did you use the release automation script to create this PR or not? (it should work for bumping the patch version just as well). |

@jtattermusch I tried the automation script, however, it needs to bump the version to pre-releases before bumping the minor release. I documented those small things in the 1.46 work log created by Stanley https://docs.google.com/document/d/1WjS9BVZ3nOH4HQX7xZXwglCjkF3-oHGPHMXwaYP5I5o/edit?resourcekey=0-WIJ-VQtipvgpTZciO9XhbQ#heading=h.wgegpcxip6bp. I was hoping I have some cycles to patch this detail (allow minor version bump to skip rc), but I haven't got a chance. |
