I started with this cap from
bluebear_74.- Crop the Image.
- Filters-> Enhance-> Sharpen 40.
- Filters-> Enhance-> UnSharp Mask
- Radius 5.0
- Amount 0.50
- Threshold 0
- Repeat Sharpen: Filters-> Enhance-> Sharpen 40.(It may look weird at this point, but trust me on this.)
- Image-> Scale Image...
- Width: 100 px
- Height: 100 px
- Interpolation: Cubic(best) This makes a big difference in the long run.
- Duplicate Base Layer Three Times
- On Each Layer Go to Layers-> Color-> Auto-> Equalize
- Set the two middle layers to Screen.
- Set the Top Layer to Overlay

- Flatten Image

- Duplicate the Base Again
- This maybe a bit complicated if you don't know how to use gradients, so feel free to ask me any questions you may have.
- Download gradient cw5-059 from cpt-city. (If you don't know how to download and install gradients check out the list of info on gradients below.) You can also create your own gradient. The colors are 445e7a to 056b6d.
- Make sure you select the top layer and the correct gradient.
- Now go to Filters-> Colors-> Map-> Gradient Map The layer should look like:

- Set Layer to Screen
- Duplicate the Base layer and Bring it to the top.
- Set to Overlay.

- Skip Fuchsia Steps for this.
