Problems with Text printing properly from Gimp
I'm trying to redo the packaging for my jewelry and stitch markers and I'm having issues with text.
I have all the graphics and layout done, but I can't get the text to look smooth. With my first go at packaging, I just gave up and did it in Word, but this is too complicated and needs to be aligned properly and it's not going to work in Word. But I can't get Gimp to create normal text. It always looks pixelated and ethereal. I'm using Bradley Hand ITC for the font, in both 12 and 33 px size and I get the same cloudy/pixelated effect for both. I have tried turning anti-aliasing on and off, as well as the Hinting option. I have have googled like crazy for help. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong, or is this just a program issue?
x-posted a few places.
