How do I resize a GIF without losing quality?▼

Use a resizer that regenerates the color palette after scaling. Our tool uses a two-stage pipeline: Lanczos scaling for sharp edges, then palettegen + paletteuse to rebuild an optimized 256-color palette with dithering. This preserves far more detail than naive scaling, and animation timing and loops are kept intact.

Can I compress a GIF to a specific file size?▼

Yes. The Compress GIF tool lets you set a target file size (for example 8MB for Discord or 16MB for WhatsApp) and automatically adjusts colors, frame rate, and dimensions to hit it while preserving as much quality as possible.
