We connect the rides that should already exist.

Shuttlebee bridges the gap between families who need reliable school transportation and professional operators with the capacity to serve them. We're building the infrastructure that makes student transportation work for everyone.

The gap we're closing

The problem parents face

In communities across the country, families need reliable school transportation and can't find it. The bus doesn't come. Rideshare costs a fortune. The parent carpool is unreliable. They need consistency, safety, and accountability — but the options that exist are either unavailable or unaffordable.

For families who turn to Uber or Lyft, the cost is staggering — two school runs a day, five days a week, with surge pricing. And even then, you get a different driver every day and zero guarantee they'll show up.

The challenge operators face

Local operators — professional drivers with commercial vehicles — are running routes with two or three kids when they could carry eight. They can't afford the insurance. They don't have the technology to compete with bigger fleets.

These are experienced professionals with clean safety records and commercial licenses, but the traditional insurance market prices them out. They lack the digital infrastructure to manage bookings, communicate with families, and scale their operations efficiently.

For Families

Access to premium, trackable, consistent transportation at a fraction of rideshare costs. Real-time updates, vetted drivers, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing your child's ride is handled by professionals.

For Operators

The technology, insurance, and infrastructure to build real businesses. We provide the platform to manage routes efficiently, insurance products that reflect actual safety records, and direct access to families who need your services.

What we believe

Reliability is the product

Fancy vehicles are nice. What parents actually need is for the driver to show up — every day, on time, without drama. We've built our systems around operational excellence: route optimization, backup driver protocols, real-time tracking, and proactive communication. When something goes wrong, families know immediately and we have solutions ready.

Small operators can compete

With the right technology, insurance, and access to families, an independent operator can deliver better service than a giant fleet. Small operators know their communities, build personal relationships with families, and take pride in their service. Our platform gives them the professional infrastructure they need to compete while maintaining the personal touch that makes them special.

Insurance shouldn't be the barrier

Great drivers with clean records are getting priced out of student transportation. We're building a better model that uses telematics, behavioral data, and predictive analytics to price risk fairly — making insurance accessible for operators who've earned it through years of safe driving.

Real families. Real results.

Don't take our word for it — hear from the families who ride with us every day.

This service is heaven sent! As my daughter transitioned to a middle school without any school bus transportation, I chose to carpool for two years but could no longer do it because of my schedule for work. There are NO Car Services in Philadelphia that transport kids to school and then Shuttlebee came along. This service is dependable, organized and fills a significant need for children to get to school in a safe manner — especially for children who live far away from the school. The prices are affordable and the service is invaluable.
