I am looking for a fic I read a long time ago. I believe it is an alternate universe in which Justin somehow kidnapped Brian and takes him to a small cabin. They end up falling in love, and Justin turns himself in and Brian goes free and Brian does not press charges. Brian is looking for Justin, but can’t find him. He ends up seeing Justin walking in the rain and Justin collapses and is sick. Brian ends up taking him back to his apartment and they get together.

Justin is dating Ethan before meeting Brian. He takes a job at Ryder and Ethan keeps pestering him to quiet to work as a waiter. At one point Justin gets locked out their apartment and he is waiting for Ethan to come home, but ends up spending the night outside until morning. Ethan is real jealous about Brian and accuses Justin of cheating, but Ethan is he one cheating.

Anyone recall where Mel is sent to prison/jail? I might be mixing up the story with another, but she helped out the judge and stockwell to get hobbs off? And they were using it against her? She wanted full custody of Gus, judge russo helped her with it. I think Lindsey had a emotional breakdown, but Mel while in jail told brian/justin she was faking it and was working with michael to break them up. Mel ended up committing suicide but not before giving custody of JR to Brian and Justin

Hello all!

I just re-imported this comm at Dreamwidth for the first time since 2017 lol. Our Dreamwidth GIH comm now contains all the LJ entries, as well as the posts that have been made at DW (which is not a ton but more than I thought).

I did this because of a Tumblr post a friend sent me that contained renewed rumblings of LJ "going away." I don't know if that's something to actually worry about... and in 2017 we did over-worry a bit and thought we'd disable posting access here and completely shift over there, which thankfully wasn't necessary... but updating seemed a smart thing to do.

Our DW link is in the sidebar under "Important Comm Info," for anyone else who had almost forgotten it existed (like me... Sorry!).

*waves to all* I came upon both of these fics late, but they quickly became favorites.

The Winsome Wasp hasn't updated her reboot One More Time since 2016, but she did mention in some comments once she had the story planned out through Season 2. I'm pretty sure it's completely abandoned, but I still check on it every now and then.

PA Boi hasn't updated the latest story To Have and to Hold in his lovely multi-fic universe in just over a year. I really hope it's not abandoned; I miss it!

If anyone in touch with either of these writers, please let them know their absence is noticed and missed.

I am trying to locate a specific Queer as Folk fanfiction involving Brian and Justin. Unfortunately, I do not recall the title or author, but I remember several key plot elements:

Brian experiences a panic attack or other during a flight to New York.

A psychologist seated next to him offers assistance and provides a business card, suggesting he seek help.

Subsequently, Justin returns to Pittsburgh and chooses not to go back to New York(not sure details).

Justin takes on a supportive role, accompanying Brian to therapy sessions.

The story features a BDSM dynamic in which Justin is the Dominant partner. This aspect of their relationship plays a therapeutic role in Brian’s emotional recovery.

I would be deeply grateful if anyone recognizes this story and could share a link, reference, or a copy. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Just letting you know the little pro package extension we got a couple of months ago is expiring in the next day or two, and we're finally becoming a free account. Shouldn't make a difference except for ads popping up. We were good with the idea a couple of months ago and I'm expecting we'll all still be good with it.

Brian Meets Lindsay Prequels

I'm looking for a prequel/college fic I read long ago about when Brian met Lindsey and how their relationship developed. In this story, Lindsay becomes infatuated with Brian quickly and follows him home after class one day. When he catches her, she makes a comment about his eyelashes. He invites her into his apartment and they end up kissing. Brian is working at a pizza place and there's a part where he says she may be "a bit of a slut" for liking two meats on her pizza. Of course he's closeted and they end up splitting and staying friends.

I'm also open to any Brian/Lindsay prequel-type stories. I've read the one by Morpheus a million times already.

Hi! Haven't been here in about 6 years, but I've recently started listening to my QAF mix again and I am stumped by a particular lyric. I hope this is not considered "off topic", but didn't know where else to turn (Google doesn't even have the info!)

There is a song that plays in the background of Season 2 Ep. 15 where Michael & Justin are in Woody's & Justin angry with Brian.

I know the song is Freedom (Andy & The Lamboy Progressive Club Mix). It's basically the same lyrics over & over & over, but there is a section where I simply cannot understand what the singer is saying & it's driven me nuts for years. If there is someone who can complete this lyric, I will be forever grateful!!!
