    This is one of the best things I've ever purchased. I'm using it for a media center paired with osmc, and it's fantastic. I'm fortunate to have an Ethernet port in my living room, so there is no issue with lag or signal, and it works perfectly to stream media from my server on the other side of the house, or from the internet.

    The only issue I encountered was with a small rainbow icon flashing in the top right corner. This was due to the power supply I was using, which was for my old Nexus 4 phone. I bought the NorthPada micro USB power supply and now that icon is gone.

    I would highly recommend this for a media center.

    Pros:
    Almost too many to mention...where to start?

    It runs Minecraft Pi Edition perfectly. I don't know how to make a pickaxe though.

    Super Cheap and cute.

    Four 900mhz cores and 1 GB ram! Leaves older Pi in the dust.

    With 4 USB ports, you're much less likely to require a separate powered USB hub. Make sure your power source is greater than 2A, and enable 1.2A USB current output on the pi with max_usb_current=1 in /boot/config.txt to be able to power USB hard drives and other more demanding devices. Bear in mind this is 1.2A max for all the USB ports not per port. If you need to run several demanding devices at once, go with a powered hub.

    It can run WIndows 10. (oops that should be in the con section!)

    Cons:
    Photosensitive! Yes, really! If your plans for a Raspberry Pi 2 include lazers or Xenon flash bulbs, consider using an opaque case. I suppose future revisions will have this fixed, but it would have been nice if they had already fixed it by the time I got one. Not that I plan on taking photos of my running Pi, but why shouldn't I be able to?

    For some reason the Pi isn't capable of of using monitor energy saving features, at least with the default Raspbian image. I have a Beaglebone Black that connects to a LCD monitor via a HDMI to DVI cable and it suspends the monitor after a while by default, even in the console, so I'm not sure where the problem lies. The best it can do is blanking the screen, which leaves a back light on all the time. It's sort of hillbilly if you ask me. It's 2015 and monitors should be able to be suspended on a timer, even with a Pi. Global Warming!!! Then again if you use it for a headless system then it's a moot point.

    Still not Altoids tin compliant....

    Not on Black PCB....Green PCB is so 1984. I bet if they made a black one for $5 more everyone would buy it instead.

    J'ai acheté le pi 2 pour me fabriquer une console universelle.
    Pour cela, j'ai installé la distribution Recalbox sur une carte micro sd véloce (SanDisk MicroSDHC Extreme PLUS 16 Go Classe 10 UHS-I U3)
    J'ai pris une clé wifi (Edimax EW-7811UN Nano Adaptateur clé USB sans fil 150 Mbps),
    un boitier (Raspberry Pi Model B+ Case OneNineDesign),
    un cable hdmi (amazon basics),
    un lecteur de carte sd, mon pc en étant dépourvu (Inateck 3-Port Hub USB3.0 Compact alimenté par bus avec Lecteur de Carte SDXC SDHC SD),
    et une alimentation (Aukru® Alimentation 5v 2000mA Chargeur Adaptateur Micro USB Pour Raspberry Pi 2 et Modèle B+)

    Résultat :
    La clé wifi est reconnue nativement par l'os, tout comme le clavier, la souris et la manette sans fil xbox360.
    Le pi est visible depuis windows avec le réseau wifi (il suffit de tapez \\RECALBOX dans l'explorateur windows une fois la clé wifi rentrée dans recalbox). C'est très pratique, car cela permet d'ajouter de nouvelles rom directement depuis windows (je rappelle q'une carte sd, formatée en ext4, le cas des distributions unix, n'est pas visible si elle est branchée directement sur le pc windows : donc pouvoir avoir accès à l'os en wifi, c'est super pratique!).
    Recalbox est super, je le recommande pour toute personne souhaitant faire de l'émulation sans se casser la tête. En plus, l'interface est magnifique.
    Pour le multimédia, aucun souci avec Kodi (intégré à Recalbox). J'ai pu streamer une vidéo full-hd depuis l'addon youtube sans difficulté.

    Je recommande.

    Acheté pour un Raspberry Pi 2 type B.
    Reconnu nativement par Raspbian et Recalbox.
    Petite astuce pour les personnes, comme moi, qui ont acheté un Pi pour se créer un émulateur universel avec Recalbox : une fois recalbox installé et la clé wifi rentrée (passer en anglais pour rentrer les caractères si besoin dans cette étape) : aller sur votre pc windows, et dans l'explorateur de windows taper : \\RECALBOX
    Et voilà : vous avez accès au répertoire des roms depuis votre ordinateur distant :)
    Je recommande.
