    This is not my typical book to read but I absolutely loved it. There was no putting it down! It didn't just end at the conclusion of one problem either. It continued through the backlash and I am so pleased with the ending and how this book was written.

    Eva Remington lives in a gilded cage -repelled by how her crime boss father makes his fortune but unable to leave for reasons that are hinted at but become apparent later. Undercover cop Oliver, posing as a drug dealer, despises Eva for seeming content to live her luxurious life, uncaring that it's funded by her father's criminal pursuits. This all sets up a prickly antagonism between the two of them. However, coupled as it is with an instant attraction between them it led to a lot of very enjoyable sexual tension.
    Eva and Oliver are well fleshed out characters and their doubts and uncertainties concerning each other are well reasoned, even after they've come to know each other better. The thriller elements also play out well, with leaks and suspicion and a surprising and shocking event I never saw coming.
    This was a very enjoyable romantic thriller with great levels of romance and suspense.

    It was complicated and extremely excited as the story unfolded. Full of surprises and expectations. Very well written. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
