    I couldn’t put this novel down. It was an amazing read. It made me laugh, cry, then happy then sad. I wanted to cheer then shout.
    The pages flew by. I didn’t want to cook dinner but I did.
    I started reading this novel this afternoon and finished it tonight.
    So happy I read this 2 book series.

    A really good read.i normally don't like being sucked in by a free book and then having to buy the ending.but the free one was complete, but I just had to buy the full version.good read.

    In this 2nd book of the series, Grayson, Lisa and Mark continue the relationship described in book 1. My overall impressions of the series:

    - You need to read both volumes of the story. Fortunately, the author now offers a 2-book set so that you don't have to purchase them separately.
    - A dark story can still have hope and love. The same can be said for life.
    - This writer is darn good. She has crafted a complex story that keeps you interested, has suspense that will keep you wanting to keep reading and characters that, good or bad, will affect you. This spans both book 1 and book 2.
    - For all the bad that one character displays, another can display the opposite.
    - I wanted to slap Lisa, kill Mark and make love to Grayson. Can you say sexy?

    The only reason that I didn't rate these books 5 stars is that I felt they dragged a bit. I would have liked to see the story progress a little faster so the action continued.

    I recommend these books to dark romance readers with the warning that there are scenes of abuse and rape. There are also scenes of love and hope. If this sounds like your type of story, buy it now.

    The conclusion to Lisa's story. She's finally out of an abusive relationship and making friends. She's still shy and unsure and irritatingly indecisive at times. Lucky that Grayson finds her and he is still besotted.

    This is a sweet love story that has passion, insecurity, friendship, bravery, obsession and most of all it's about taking back control of your life and rediscovering your sense of self. Grayson and Lisa's tale has some unexpected twists and surprises. It's an enjoyable two book duet.
