    🌹All too well🌹

    🇬🇧I was allowed to read this book as Arc. I am a real fan of Corinne Michaels' books. Her writing style is fantastically fine. This story is also very easy to read and is very nicely constructed.

    I really love this story, these characters really have a place in my heart. The loving daddy-daughter relationship between Rose and Lanchan is really too cute to read. I also thought Ainsley had a very nice character, she is really passionate about what she does.

    I think this is an incredibly cute and loving story. It is a soft story, with beautiful storylines. The story is well constructed and is nice to read. You also read about other people's stories, through Ainsley's interviews. I thought that was a really nice addition to the book. Oh and the bonus scene! Super fun to read.

    I definitely recommend reading this book! Thank you ... for this Arc copy!

    This story was cute but there were also a few things that i didn't liked. Both the MMC & FMC have feelings for eachother, but the lack of communication/ miscommunication is kinda frustrating. How can the MMC always loved the FMC but he is in the last years also with other woman (he didn't talk to the FMC for four years). And why is it always that the FMC doesn't date/intimate with other men...?

    I loved every second of Ainsley & Lachlan's story.

    What a great start to a new series by Corinne Michaels. I am obsessed with her writing. In this small town romance I got to swoon over the firefighter single dad and his best friend's sister. Lachlan and Ainsley had an undeniable connection. And after years of not talking, they are forced to be in each other's proximity. AND DID I EAT THAT UP!

    This story is about Ainsley and Lachlan. Lachlan is best friends to Ainsley's brother and she has had a crush on him since she was young. They share a kiss one day and they never speak again after the incident, which I found a bit unrealistic since they're from a small town. However, I liked how they meet again. At times, Lachlan bothered me a bit, but his daughter Rose made up for it. I'm curious to the other books in the series.

    All Too Well is a fun and enjoyable small town romance novel. We follow Ainsley and Lachlan who have loved each other ever since their teen years. They had one moment together. And even though Lachlan was drunk he remembers every second of it. But he did blurt out some painful things and that makes Ainsley run away as fast as she can.

    Fast forward 4 years. Ainsley is working at a paper and she is desperate to write important and meaningful articles. But time and time again she gets the fashion and simple things to write about. During a meeting she gets assigned a sporting article about Lachlan West. She sputters and tries to get something else. But off she goes to Ember Falls to interview him and follow him around for a few weeks. And that is what this story is about.

    It's about two people who have loved each other forever. And are a bit shy to act upon it at first. It's a story about how you were raised impacts your day to day life still. It's about finding out your place in someone else's life. While respecting the dreams and aspirations of the other one.

    It's a beautiful and gentle story. Which I thoroughly enjoyed.

    But I did miss a little bit of chemistry. I didn't feel their love in my soul or in my bones. I wish Lachlan's daughter had a bigger part in the book. And I wish Ainsley and Rose become close on page instead of off page. I just missed a little bit of magic.

    The Admiral's story line was by far my favorite. I love his character arc and his character growth. That was top notch.

    All in all a fantastic book! 3.75/4 huge stars from me for this beauty of a book.

    This was an absolute delight to read from start to finish, and I say that as someone who isn't usually interested in the single parent trope. I've loved this one so much I'm going to be reading the rest of the series and then actively hunting down anything else Corinne has written.

    The family interplay between parents and siblings, between friends, was all so beautifully done. Even better was the dialogue - it sparkled and popped between all of them in a way that was entertaining and entirely realistic. The banter was so great that it's clear to see Corinne has vast affection for her characters.

    All in all, this was an easy read that was heartwarming and satisfying from start to finish, and I heartily recommend it.

    This book! WOW, I am in LOVE with everything about Ember Falls!!! Ms. Michaels has written a book that is NOT super angsty, does NOT "unalive" anyone and IS a feel-good story that will make you laugh out loud with the banter! I wouldn't go so far as to say that this is a rom-com, this IS Corinne after all, but it's a beautiful second chance/unrequited love story with a little smidge of angst (mostly from delving into things in the past-mostly Lachlan's) Add in a sweet little girl who will wrap herself around your heart and you've got the recipe for a 5 Star read!

    I loved, LOVED Ainsley and her take-no-bull attitude! She's feisty and has a one-track mind when it comes to getting what she wants! Lachlan is no exception and he should've remembered that about her when she arrives back in town to do a story about the ex-pro athletes (or at least they had the promise of being pro).....a kind of "Where are they now" story. The guys that form the team of Ultimate Frisbee players, the Disc Jocks, are so much fun and the banter is laugh-out-loud funny! I can't wait for their stories!

    As for Lachlan, the firefighter with a heart of gold, who also has some serious things to work through stemming from the death of his mother and his perception of how his father dealt with things. Ainsley was instrumental in getting him to open his heart to see the truth!

    I can't recommend this first book in a new series, from an author who is an auto-one-click for me, strongly enough! I already want to move to Ember Falls!!!
