This time tommorrow, I'll be a college graduate.
I can't believe it.
I'm the first of my generation of family members who's actually graduating college.

There are just way too many things going on and this one thing just takes over any fleeting second I have of normal thought.
If I can figure this out, try and rationalize it and deal, I can possibly make it through.

so if this week couldn't get any worse...

- someone rear ends me, cracks my tail light cover and dents chiquita

- i lost my phone, only to have it found by an asshole who threatened to put some pix/vids up there on youtube and prank call all my friends (if you got a call/text anything from me after 12am on April 6th, it's not me)

- i have 2 exams and one quiz day after day after day.

-now, my grandmother is in the hospital, possibly on her death bed and i can't even go to see her b/c chiquita's not agreeing with the roads and general movement right now.

all i want to do is just crawl in a corner and get away from it all.

oh, have i mentioned that i'm not sure where i want to go after i graduate too? Yeah, fabulous.

three random things that need to be stated that chances are no one will give a shite about..

1. i wish i had access to a stove right now. i'm so hungry and microwavable taco bell fiesta bowls aren't working. the rice tastes like disgusting glutenous masses of grossness. you know it's bad when the best part of the meal is the refried beans.

2. i may not move to mass. i might move to salem, nh. so fun that NH will live in NH.

3. someone backed into my car when i was out two nights ago and cracked my taillight and left a pretty bad ding on chiquita. this has officially put me out of commission until i can get my replacement OEM taillights on thursday. i think i may have to temporarily ghetto-ify my car by putting that horrible tacky ass red tape on my taillight so that i can drive around and go to work.

gotta love the moment where it hits you.
where you realize that you should have made a different decision educationally.
i've concluded that even though i was all sorts of interesting in forensic science, that i shouldn't have made it my major.

it's not what i want to do.
and personally, i don't feel as if i'm properly prepared for the real world, experience wise.
due to my lack for foresight, i'll be taking a shite load of certification/licensing exams to make up for what i don't have.

i should have went to rutgers.
i should have just picked clinical lab science (generalist) like i was going to do initially.
i would have been in less school loan debt and better off.
*sigh*

lets see how horrid this job search is going to be...

So, with this job thing.. I've put out my resume, and started contacting people.

I've been lucky and got a couple call backs, but everyone wants to know when I can start. I tell them in June and their whole demeanor changes. It's kinda like, "if you're available in June, why the hell are you looking for stuff now?"

I dunno, maybe I'm looking too soon? I really wonder about the likely hood of someone holding a position for me for like 4 months...

Reasons why I love my job..

- Starting place of my scientific career

- I have my own desk and my own laboratory workspace

- I can listen to my music without headphones on

- I can come to work in sweats, sneakers and a hoody.

- I pretty much get paid for what I do in class

- It's reduculously easy

- I have a possibility to have it become full time when I graduate and I'll get to work in Manhattan

- I make my own hours

- I have really cool bosses ( I talked to my boss about how he doesn't remember his trip to Amsterdam and to Oktoberfest)

and last but not least...

I HAVE MY OWN PARKING SPOT.

I'm not a fan of this new Chris Brown song, "With you". Well, I'm not into the video, or him doing a slow song. I'll gladly take another "Wall to wall", "Kiss, Kiss" or "Run it!" It's a cute song, makes me whibble and miss Matt. But then again, that's the problem with long distance relationships.

I've officially ordered all my text book, and I don't believe I'm rediculously poor. The most I've spend on a book was $52 with tax and that was my Biochem Lab book, which isn't bad at all. I think I've got a total of 7 or 8 books for under $200. Especially how the Molecular Bio text book that I was supposed to buy was gonna cost me $179 at the bookstore. This is awesome.

Oh yeah, if anyone's looking for a good over the counter Acne medication, use Proactiv. This stuff called "Acne Free" that claims that it's better than Proactiv is full of shit. Even the extra strength stuff sucks. I broke out even more and scarred even darker from the acne. I know how your skin is supposed to get worse before it gets better, but no, this is just rediculous. My skin was horrible. Then as funny as it may be, a couple days of using Proactiv my skin cleared up. I'm totally returning this stuff and getting my $30 back.

Of course, after I have night sweats like I'm going through menopause, the water main that feeds water to my quad has broken. Now, Suffolk (my building), Queens, Nassau and Kings have no water. So if I want to take a shower, I have to go to the gym which is all the way across campus. The cafeteria doesn't have any water either, so if I want to get food, I have to go cross campus (in the other direction) to get food.

All I wanna do is just go to the bathroom, wash my face and have breakfast..
