Does Gart work on iPhone?

Not yet. Currently we only support Android phones.

Will this work outside my country?

Yes. Decentralized architecture means no geographic restrictions or data residency requirements.

What if I don't have internet connection?

Then the app won't function. You need to enable your Location and be online to be able to send an alert.

Do my contacts need the app?

Yes. App-to-app is more private than SMS or other channels. One tap to trigger an alert beats opening a chat app, dialing a number, or typing a message. In an emergency, you want something readily available.

Can law enforcement access my data?

We don't have your data to provide. Decentralized architecture means no central database to compel.

What about false alarms?

It's important to learn how to trigger the button. That's why Gart app has a Test Alert feature.

Is my waitlist email shared or sold?

No. However, email addresses should be considered a public knowledge - we can't guarantee to keep it safe. Use an email you have regular access to, but not your primary email.
