5-Minute Rotations

Shops and weather refresh every 5 minutes. Legendary seeds like Cherry and Cabbage sell out quick, so timing matters.

Wait for Lush (3×)

Crops go from Unripe → Ripened → Lush. Harvesting at Lush triples the base price — and it stacks with mutations for even bigger payouts.

Starstruck (6.5×)

The rarest mutation in the game — only drops during Starfall weather. Land it on a Lush Gold crop and you're looking at nearly 100× base value.

Garden Horizons — Dawn Fruit, Mutations & Farming Guide

Garden Horizons is a farming simulator on Roblox by Dawn Digital, launched on February 22, 2026. It quickly became one of the platform's most-played farming games, often compared to Grow a Garden but with deeper mechanics. You grow crops, chase rare mutations, and build out your garden at your own pace — no theft, no pressure, just smart farming.

Getting Started

You spawn with a small plot and a few Shillings. Head to Bill's Seed Shop in the center of the map and grab some Carrot Seeds for $20 — they're cheap and grow fast. Plant them with the shovel, wait for them to mature, then sell at the Sell Stand. Reinvest into better seeds and gear, and you'll scale up quickly. The game lets you plant up to 300 seeds at once, so there's plenty of room to grow.

How Ripeness Works

Every crop goes through three stages: Unripe (1.0–1.9×), Ripened (2.0–2.9×), and Lush (3.0×). The longer you wait, the more it's worth. A $30 Carrot becomes $90 at Lush. The real magic happens when you combine Lush with mutations — that's where single crops can reach absurd values. It's a constant trade-off between quick cash and maximum profit.

Dawn Fruit, Dawnfruit & Pack-Exclusive Seeds

Seeds come in five tiers: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. Commons like Carrot ($20) and Corn ($100) are great for getting started. Uncommons — Onion ($200), Strawberry ($800) — offer better returns. Rares include Tomato ($4K), Apple ($7K), and Rose ($10K). Epics like Wheat ($12K), Banana ($30K), Plum ($60K), and Potato ($100K) are where profits really pick up. At the top: Cabbage ($150K), Cherry ($1M), and the pack-exclusive Olive. Some seeds like Dandelion, Bellpepper, and Dawnfruit (also called Dawn Fruit) only come from Seed Packs — making them some of the most sought-after drops in Garden Horizons.

All Mutations in Garden Horizons

Mutations multiply your crop's sell price and come in four categories. Growth mutations (Unripe, Ripened, Lush) happen naturally. Weather mutations — Soaked (1.2×), Flooded (1.5×), Foggy (1.2×), Chilled (1.5×), Snowy (2.0×), Sandy (2.5×), Shocked (4.5×), Starstruck (6.5×) — depend on the current weather. Variant mutations like Silver (2.0×) and Gold (5.0×) appear randomly. Then there are Combos: Frostbit (3.5×) from Soaked + Snowy, Muddy (5.0×) from Flooded + Sandy, Mossy (3.5×) from Foggy + Chilled. They all stack multiplicatively — a Lush Gold Shocked crop hits 3 × 5 × 4.5 = 67.5× base price.

Weather

Weather rotates every five minutes server-wide. Rain gives a 25% growth boost plus Soaked/Flooded mutations. Storm is the best for growth (50% boost) and drops the rare Shocked mutation. Sandstorm offers 20% growth with Sandy mutations. Snowstorm actually slows growth by 15%, but enables Chilled and Snowy. Fog and Starfall keep normal growth speed — Starfall is the one you really want for Starstruck, the highest-value mutation at 6.5×. Tracking weather and planting around it is one of the best ways to boost your income.

Gear

Molly's Gear Shop has six tools. Watering Can ($5K) manually speeds up growth. Basic Sprinkler ($15K) automates it for 5 minutes. Harvest Bell ($35K) collects all fruits from a plant at once — great for renewables. Turbo Sprinkler ($60K) is a stronger 10-minute boost. Favorite Tool ($80K) marks fruits so you don't accidentally pick them before Lush. Super Sprinkler ($100K) is the top-tier option with a 15-minute growth boost. Like seeds, gear restocks every 5 minutes in limited quantities.

Farming Tips

For the best returns: invest in renewable crops (Cherry, Banana, Apple) that keep producing after harvest. Always wait for Lush. Plant during Storm or Starfall for the best mutation chances. Use Sprinklers while good weather is active. Watch for combo opportunities — Rain into Sandstorm can trigger Muddy (5.0×). And use the Profit Calculator on this page to compare setups before spending your Shillings.

Codes and Quests

The devs drop codes through Discord, X, and in-game events — free Shillings, seeds, and gear. Check our codes page for the latest working codes. The game also has daily and weekly quests (harvest X crops, earn Y Shillings, plant specific seeds) that reward Shillings and Seed Packs. Quests are one of the fastest ways to build up capital early on.

Badges

There are 24+ badges tracking your progress across categories: Prosperous (earning Shillings), Reaper (harvesting), Sower (planting), and Botanist (collecting mutations). Early milestones like Green Thumb and First Harvest come quickly. The highest-tier badges? Nobody's earned them yet — they're the ultimate flex for dedicated farmers.
