Long time no post. I made a new layout for the LJ (gabranth CHECK IT). It's Jacob/Bella from New Moon and the lyrics included are from "Home" by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. That song is srsly amazing and everyone should check it out.

Copied from ellyrianna, I decided to list out my favorite episodes of TV shows ever - the episodes that stick out in my mind whenever I think of my fanishness for the show. Some shows I can't think of favorite episodes from because while there are moments that are amazing, other parts just kind of suck. These are the elite and the memorable (and there are only three!)

X-Files, Triangle

I could watch this episode over and over. What's not to like? Time travel, Scully looking gorgeous, Mulder being delectable as always and Skinner being a badass - it's all good. The single shot of Scully going through the FBI building is particularly amazing - I mean, one take? It makes her look amazing and it adds so much to an episode that was already shot (photographed?) in a really cool way. And of course, who can forget Mulder and Scully's kiss? I mean, she was time-travel Scully and not herself (and she has a mean right hook) but it was worth it (and FINALLY IT'S ONLY SEASON 6). Also, when Mulder tells her he loves her in his half-delusional state? Win.

Alias, Phase One

I don't really remember much of this episode. I know it's when they finally took down SD-6 (although the story took so many convoluted twists and turns, whether this moment actually meant anything at all is debatable). What really made this episode pop up in my mind as one of my favorite episodes ever was that kiss. This episode contains Sydney's and Vaughn's first kiss after a season and a half of unresolved sexual tension. You know they adore each other for so long but they can't act on it because Syd is leading a double life, but now they can be together. Out in the open. Free and dandy and together. And the kiss itself? He pulls off his mask, they stare at each other over the internal ruins of SD-6, stalk towards each other and BAM. It's worth a watch, especially since when I first watched this episode, I rewound, watched, rewound, watched this moment over and over and over.

Gilmore Girls, They Shoot Gilmores, Don't They?

I love the dance-off. It's so Stars Hallow-y. Lane's antics with Dave and Lorelai being generally entertaining (I can't honestly remember what her storyline was in this one) are good, but what makes this episode excellent is the break-up of Rory and Dean and the impending status of Rory and Jess. I love his bad-assery and his antagonization of Rory (although irl, I'd find this incredibly annoying) and also the "I'm bored" "Okay" makeout in front of Rory is hilarious (um, kind of awful, but I had to suppress my giggle). This episode is way memorable and one of the first ones I mention when I talk about my Gilmore Girls love and especially my forever shipper-ness of Rory and Jess (I mean, the episode where Luke and Lorelai finally kiss is way up there on the list of favorites, but the fact that Rory also sleeps with Dean makes me RAAAAGE). I like to believe in my little world that after the show ended Rory became some cool writer and found Jess again with his little book shop and they gave it a genuine go.

What I Do When I'm Sick

Hey sarahcross,

I read Dull Boy in one sitting last night. I couldn't drop it, and then after I finished it I was grinning like an idiot and awake for at least half an hour because I was just ~so excited~ by your book. OMG I LOVED IT.

I don't normally like superheroes - the extent of my superhero knowledge/fannishness is the Batman movies (I mean, Christian Bale? Yes please), Teen Titans, and X-Men: Evolutions (mostly because I wanted to see Rogue and Wolverine end up together) - but I ate this book up. I want to be bffs with Darla, and you can imagine that my shipper heart was going in overdrive trying to hook these kiddies up (I mean, they're like 15, I shouldn't be so eager to see them hooked up...). Um, js, Avery totes has a soft spot for Catherine, despite sparkle!whore Sophie. Oh yeah, and the plot was cool :D

Anyway. I need moar. I really really really really hope DB does well because I'd love to read more about these kiddies.

Thank you for making a believable, wonderful, totally lovable set of characters that I will be happily recommending to everyone I know.

Have you ever experienced that zing of attraction for a complete stranger?

I was hanging with Chris, the guy I last talked about, and we were watching a football game because, well... I try too hard. Anyway, this guy came in to watch too, along with a bunch of other people, and after the game, we were giving introductions all around, and I missed his because I was just the interloper in that group, really.

But then he came up to me and shook my hand and smiled at me, this huge, beautiful smile, and he asked me what my name was and I said, "I'm Becca." He says, "Nice to meet you," and I manage one of my pretty smiles, I'm sure I did a pretty smile, and for once I wasn't all shy and weird and oh my god I need to find him again. I need to at least know his name.

College, what a ride.

I Don't Know the Meaning of the Word Illogical

I saw Star Trek this evening with all the nerds who also went to the late night repeat showing for free on campus, and I have to say it was absolutely amazing. Now, I knew nothing except their names before watching the movie, but hotdamn, THE MOVIE WAS GOOD.

And it wasn't just because of Chris Fiiiiiine or the fact that ZQ as Spock made my girly parts quiver in ways that only nerd porn could inspire or the fact that I was just waiting for the two of them to beat each other up and then start making out. Would have made the movie a thousand times moar amazing, if that's possible. No, I loved the movie for being the movie and heck no am I going to watch the original series or anything else Star Trek but I might just add ZQ and Fine to the list of boys I love.

Anyway. :D

COLLEGE IS GOOD. I NEED MORE FRIENDS. PLEASE TO BE TELLING ME HOW.

I spend too much time on Facebook. This is a fact. I also do all those stupid tests and Pick 5's and stuff that annoy most people, but I like to get maximum entertainment out of my FB account and dude, my rl friends already know I'm weird. This stuff is nothing new to them. So I present two interesting screencaps from recent FB activity XD.

Case 1: Balthier is my Final Fantasy obsession.

Out of all the FF characters I could have been like, I got Balthier. And I didn't even look for the Balthier-like answers! (I was actually picking the first answer that made me smile)

Case 2: I am unabashedly motherfuck insane over RPattz.

This is pretty self-explanatory.
