Voter Credentials

All members of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) who register for the General Assembly shall have all privileges of the Assembly, except voting privileges, which are limited to the following:

• Certified voting representatives from congregations;
• Certified voting representatives from regions;
• Ordained/licensed ministers with ministerial standing;
• Chief administrative officers of institutions and general ministries of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ);
• Members of the General Board;
• Past Moderators and Vice Moderators of the General Assembly.

Each congregation is entitled to two (2) voting representatives at the General Assembly “plus one additional voting representative for each 100 participating members or major fraction thereof over the first 100.”  Clergy persons in your congregation do not count toward the voting representatives mentioned above.

Your congregation will receive correspondence indicating how many voting representatives you are allowed at the 2025 General Assembly, based on this year’s ALEX Yearbook Reporting for 2024.  A list of congregational representatives must be submitted to the Office of the General Minister and President before June 1, 2025. If you did not meet the June 1, 2025, deadline please fill out the below form and bring it to the Registration Center at the Renasant Convention Center.
