~*Magical*~ abilities and strengths:
Orihime is able to use spiritual power in the form of the Shun Shun Rikka. Her trademark hairpins become 6 fairies. One of them (Tsubaki) is used for attacks, two (Ayame and Shun o) are capable of healing and three (Baigon, Hinagiku, and Lily) are capable of forming a shield. Orihime's abilities are unique in that they do not correct the damage caused but instead revert time. Because of this she is able to heal massive injuries. Orihime's strengths lie in her defensive capabilities. She has been able to deflect major attacks by both shinigami and arrancar. She is also a very strong healer, her only weakness really showing when she has tried to heal one of her own fairies. He attack capability is rather low, she cannot hold ground against anyone with considerable strength. She has successfully attacked low level hollows, but that is it.

How would they use their abilities?:
Orihime uses he abilities to aid her friends and protect them. Her shield and healing abilities are strong, and she is the only one out of her team that has the ability to heal. Orihime was also forced to use her powers to heal an Espada as a demonstration to Aizen. She repaired Grimmjow's arm.

Appearance:
Orihime is a more or less average looking teen. She stands at 5'2", has brown eyes, and orange hair that reaches mid back. She also has a pair of flower shaped hairpins that she wears religiously in memory of her brother. They are also the source of her spiritual power. Orihime is "blessed" with a rather voluptuous chest. While at school Orihime wears the Karakura school uniform. A grey pleated skirt, buttoned up white blouse and red neck bow. While not at school Orihime wears a lot of dresses and skirts. She has a very casual style. When she is taken prisoner she is forced to wear an arrancar uniform that is trademark white with black trimmings.

Background:
Orihime is the typical Japanese High school student at the beginning of the story. You quickly learn that her life is not as typical as it seems. She lives in Karakura town by herself supported by relatives. Her father was a drunk and her mother was a prostitute. She had an older brother that ran away with her when she was 3 and raised her until he died in a car accident. Despite her insane home life and family she remains cheerful and optimistic. She is classmates and friends with Kurosaki Ichigo, the hero of the story. He gains the abilities of a Soul Reaper when Kuchiki Rukia , a shinigami, is unable to fight of the hollow that is attacking his family. A hollow is a race born from a human soul that cannot pass on into the spirit world. After Ichigo gains these powers he is forced to defend Orihime when her dead brother Sora returns to her as a hollow. Ichigo is able to defeat him and protect Orihime. Soon after this incident Hollows attack students outside of school with the ability to control the student's bodies. In an atempt to help a classmate Orihime's best friend, Tatsuki is taken over by the hollow. Orihime wants to protect her so desperately she is able to conjure up abilities. It is later learned that her contact with the Hyogoku was what sparked the creation of her abilities. Orihime is able to use her shields and attacks to fend off the hollow and heal her friend. As soon as her fight has ended a man in a hat and clogs comes and takes her to his shop to explain what is happening.

Orihime finds herself a member of a rescue mission when Kuchiki Rukia is taken back to soul society and sentenced to death. Orihime knows that Ichigo wants to rescue her and so she, along with several other friends decide that they will assist him. They are trained in their new abilities by Yourichi, a former shinigami. Upon arriving in soul society the group pairs off to travel more effectively. Orihime is paired with Ishida Uuryu, a classmate and the last Quency. The Quency are a tribe that kill Hollows. While Orihime attempts to fight while in soul society her offensive powers are too weak to be of any use. She is able to protect and heal her comrades, and it becomes increasingly apparent that her strength lies in her defensive abilities (Urahara Kiske).

While in Soul Society the group discovered that the 5th division captain, Souske Aizen, had faked his own death in order to carry out an evil plot. After the successful rescue of Rukia he retreated into Hueco Mundo, the world of the hollows.

The team returned to Karakura but of course like did not return to normal. It wasn't long before Aizen's new henchmen began to invade the human world. Called Arrancar, they were hollows that he had given shinigami powers. Orihime was confronted and attacked by one of these Arrancar. Before Urahara and Yourichi arrive to fend off the Arrancar Orihime sustains massive injuries. She begins to get worried when Ichigo seems to vanish, but her nervous feelings are put to rest when she is able to pinpoint his spiritual power. She decided to follow the power and ends up at the Vaizard training ground, where Ichigo is learning to control his powers. The Vaizard are a group of former shinigami that have gained Hollow powers. While there she is able to speak with Hachi, a vaizard that shares powers similar to hers. He is able to heal her attack fairy, Tsubaki who was injured by the arrancar.

Orihime decides to ask Uruhara to train her, she wants to get stronger. He tells her that she does not have the will to fight. She is not like her comrades, the all strike with intent to kill. Orihime cannot do that, and even though she wants desperately to depend on herself and fight he tells her she will never be capable. Orihime takes this very hard and refuses to believe it at first, trying to train with Rukia in soul society.

Aizen becomes intrigued by Orihime's unique abilites and orders to have her taken prisoner. She is captured by Ullquiorra, one of Aizen's Espada. He gives her the ultimatum to either follow him to Hueco Mundo or he would kill her friends. She is allowed a final goodbye to Ichigo while he sleeps. She is put in a tower and forced to wear an arrancar uniform. Once Ichigo and the others find out that she has been taken they begin a rescue mission. While a prisoner Orihime is attacked by two arrancar girls, and she is nearly killed when Grimmjow, another of the espada, breaks through the wall and attacks the girls. He takes Orihime in chains and tells her he isn't doing this for her, that he just wants to use her abilities. He brings her to Ichigo and forces her to heal him, only so that he can fight with him once again. She complies. After Ichigo defeats Grimmjow another Arrancar (Nnoitora) appears to fight him. It is obvious Ichigo cannot fight another battle. Orihime tries to defend him, but is held back by Nnoitora's Fraccion. It is at this point Nel, the arrancar child Ichigo had been traveling with upon arriving in Hueco Mundo, transforms into her true self and reveals that she is the former tres Espada. She is able to fight Nnoritora,but before finishing him off she reverts back to her child form. Orihime tries to heal Ichigo at this point, but he insists she heal Nel. At this point the calvary arrives in the form of 2 shinigami captains.

After Nnoritora is defeated Stark (an espada) arrives and take Orihime captive once again. He brings her to Aizen where he informs her that her purpose was to destract everyone while he invaded and destroyed Karakura town. Now that her job and been fulfilled he released her and allowed her to return to her friends.

Personality:
Orihime lives and breaths for the people that she loves. She considers her friends her family. They are the driving force for everything that she does. She only wants to see them happy and protected. She will do anything in her power to ensure that both of these things happen. She has the ability to protect and heal them physically, but sometimes for her that isn't enough.

She went willingly to Hueco Mundo because the thought of endangering or causing her friends trouble was worse than essentially going to hell. She agreed to go to save them from pain and worry, even though she knew that going wouldn't prevent either. It was still worth trying. When she received the news that they had come to save her it was almost as if she was unhappy, unhappy because she knew this meant they would face more hardships on her behalf.

She is not a fighter, she doesn’t have the will or ability but if the people she cares about find themselves in danger she is the first to try and protect them. She wishes desperately that she had the strength to defend herself. She gets frustrated when others have to protect her, though she never shows it outwardly. She knows she is weak, but it doesn't make it easier to accept.

She has a kind and friendly disposition, trying never to let anything bring her down. She can be a little absent minded at times, and has a very overactive imagination. This often leads to her rambling off on tangents leaving whoever she was speaking with utterly confused. She also fancies herself a cook, but her concoctions are often bazaar and unappetizing.

[a very excited Orihime apears on screen holding a large platter of what LOOKS like delicious cupcakes. The key word here is look. She excitedly announces what she has done.]

Ah, everybody? I made some cupcakes. They’re my favorite flavor, Coconut Salmon and blueberry! I hope that you like them. I made enough to share, Kurosaki-kun, Urahara-san, Yourichi-san, Ukitake-san, anybody that wants to try one! I'm in the kitchen, hurry because they're still warm!

The ship was so strange, but then again she had been to a few strange places. After soul society and hueco mundo a spaceship should be easy, right? She picked up speed as she walked to her first job, there was still so much to explore here, but she couldn't be late! At first she had been nervous about picking up the odd jobs. She had no real experience doing anything and her abilities didn't lend themselves to many job descriptions. She wasn't like Kurosaki-kun. She was unsure until she saw the listing:

It was a match made in heaven! She had been cooking for herself for years and it was something that she loved to do. As far as she knew all of her friends loved her cooking. The always gave her smiles and nods of delight when she asked how it was. What she didn't know was that as soon as she turned around or left the room they immediately spit into the closest napkin. It looked like the S.S. Thor was in for a unique experience to say the least.

This whole ordeal was really hard. I thought being out of Los Noches there wouldn't be fighting, I thought I had avoided the war. Now I'm just so afraid of if when I get back home. I left before something terrible was going to happen, if this is what war is I don't want to go back and see the aftermath of it at home. I think it would be too hard. I really hope they can keep the fighting out of Karakura…

I'm still really tired, holding my shield that long took a lot out of me and I think I need to go back to sleep. Maybe I'll feel better tomorrow.

Something very bad has happened. I'm not as naive as I may look, I've been on the battle field before. I know I'm not a strong fighter but…but I can protect people. Or, I could.

I am still missing my hairpin. PLEASE, please return it to me. I cannot help those who need it unless I have it.

It is far more important than anything else I have, and I feel unwhole with it gone. I know I was told to stay out of the war back home but…but I just want to prove myself. I don't need them to always watch after me (though I always appreciate it)

I finally got to paint a picture for the wall!
I feel bad though, there were many fires and a lot of people's rooms are damaged. Somehow mine was avoided. If anyone needs help repairing things I can try. I wish I had my hairpin back, it would be much easier that way, but I can still try! One time Tatsuki-chan and I had to help build a shed for community service. She taught me how to use a hammer so I think I can help!

But, maybe my artwork will help brighten the day?
I thought it was really neat!
I hope Grimmjow-san likes dinasours.

It's strange that while I was a kid I couldn't remember anything about being older, but I remember everything about the last week. Now I miss Sora. Thank you Unahona-san for staying with me while I was small and everyone that was nice to me. I hadn't gotten to meet a lot of you yet, I hope that we can still be friends now that I'm back to normal.

I still need to find my hairpin, and paint that picture for the wall, I guess I'll go to the forest again for supplies.

I found what I needed in the forest, It feels really good to be out of that "uniform" even if the clothes here are a little weird. They're very colorful! I also found my blankets AND I got to meet Jolyne-chan! She helped me get stuff out of trees.

The apartment room seems less dismal with cozy blankets, but its still very plain, I wonder if there are paint trees?
OH, but what color? I have to remember I'm not the only one living in there, I have a room mate now.
